The Impact of Harvesting Time on Fusarium Mycotoxins in Spring Wheat Grain and Their Interaction with Grain Quality

In this work, we studied the impact of harvesting time on Fusarium mycotoxin occurrence in spring wheat and effect contamination quality these grains. The grains (Triticum aestivum L.) were collected 2016–2018 when crop had reached full maturity, 10 ± 2 days 17 3 after maturity. grain samples analyzed for infection co-contamination with mycotoxins deoxynivalenol (DON), zearalenone (ZEA), T-2 toxin (T-2), as well (mass per hectolitre, contents protein, starch, ash fat, particle size index (PSI), falling number, sedimentation, wet gluten content, index). spp. fungi produced by them was mostly influenced meteorological conditions. correlations between species showed F. graminearum to be a dominant species, result, higher concentrations DON ZEA determined. co-occurrence all three (deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, toxin) identified wheat. rainy years, delay resulted diminished wheat, indicated mass hectolitre number.
